It is the ignorance and laziness of the consumer that the medical system relies on, for these attitudes allow them to get away with using corrupted science, harmful chemicals, and dangerous techniques in the name of saving lives. Most people who have managed to free themselves of the strong grasp of the medical system realize that, like any other business, the medical system as a whole doesn't give a flying frog about individuals or their health and well-being. They care about profits and power. A little thing like mammograms causing breast cancer will not stand in the way of the system collecting billions of dollars from this market!
