You Are What You Eat

One of the best nutritional guides, and one that is over 40,000 years old and taught in African temples, states that food can be divided into two big groups. The first group contains what we call staple foods. It is composed of cereals (maize, rice, millet, wheat, etc.), vegetables (spinach, onions, tomatoes, okra, carrots, etc.), and starches (potatoes, yam, taro root, etc.). The second group contains what we call occasional foods. It is composed of animal products (red meat, white meat, fish, insects, etc.) and two groups of vegetable products: fruit (oranges, lemons, bananas, berries, pineapple, etc.) and nuts (coconut, cashew, peanut, etc.)
