Reality is swept to the waste side
So you can live in your illusions
So quick to be fooled
By so called knowledge that is useless
This way of living is foolish
Wake up humanity
What is it that we're doing
Killing ourselves slowly
Chasing this feeling called ecstasy
With thoughts of me
Instead of we
Individualism instead of community
Fighting against ourselves
Making our neighbors our enemies
Young soldiers losing blood for the streets
Trying to live by any means
Bringing shame to our families
Over material things
We try to guide with no direction
Judge one another by our possessions
Not understanding our transgressions
This is reckless
It's about time we rise up from our oppression
I just want to leave something on your mind that will leave you breathless for a second
So take time to receive this message
And learn from life's lessons
For what the ancestors gave us there's no measure
So put them first and accept your blessings
