Approaching Reincarnation

Philosophy Podium: Approaching Reincarnation

Our search for the origin of things leads us to the concept of the four principle elements, meaning fire, air, water and earth. The four elements, in reality, are the moods of different appearances, but all are united at the base by one pure element that is without identity.

It is the quality and the mood of connections among the intelligences of an entity that make its particularity, this means groups of intelligences that carry on themselves the face of the becoming of the existence.

For the human consciousness, the concept of a latent state of the existence is only understandable if we succeed at making a difference between the concept of intelligence and the concept of groups of intelligences. Especially if we consider the fact that a thing exists only if it is subject to the becoming. The becoming itself is nothing but a process of adjunction and disjunction of intelligences. Going from these notions, it is clear that the beginnings of the existence and the period that precedes the existence are not far in the past (as we would like to believe), but present here and everywhere with a goal to serve as a base to new creations. If an entity is a group of intelligences, it becomes the reason that explains the formation of that group of intelligences; the particularities of that group of intelligences is explained by the role that is played by the entity in the face of the existence that is becoming.

For the human being in search of the true face of existence, the acquirement or the development of the dimensions that we like to call abnormal of our being, is only a result of a journey inside ourselves and in the heart of the Earth, and especially the fusion of our identity with the identity of our planet.

Emerald, in his chart of Hermes Trimegistus condensed admirably the main idea of that journey in the acronym “V.I.T.R.I.O.L.”, a Latin name for sulfuric acid and defines it as: Visita Interiora Terra Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem, which means “visit the interior of the Earth by rectifying yourself and you will reach the secret stone.” The philosophical stone that is pursued by alchemists for the quality it has to transform every basic metal into gold. It is somehow interesting that this acronym reminds us of a corrosive product and expresses a movement from the heights to the depths inside the individual and the Earth. The exploration of the self appears to be an act or an adventure that is of capital importance in this process of psychological purification. It is undeniable that a cold and impartial observation of what we are, not limited by or based on what we consider as “good” or “bad”, could help us through the constant reevaluation of what we are becoming and eventually take us closer to our real nature.

Our body is the first point from which we attempt the experience of cosmic harmony through a search of the perfect position. It is the last dimension of our nature. Every body is a microcosm that reflects the macrocosm; this is the place, by which we should start our approach to the Universe. There is an anecdote of the initiation camps from the curve of the Djoliba (Niver) River that tells a story about the Prophet Bakhenknosou. In that anecdote that I hope the reader will find interesting, Bakhenkonsou tied the date nuts one after the other inside a cloth that he borrowed from one of his disciples; after every nut, he would ask his disciple., “What am I doing?” After the ninth nut, and after he had heard the same answer Bakhenkonsou explained that these nuts were not the same because of the order in which they have been tied. “If we hope to untie a nut, we must first try to find out how it has been tied. The one who knows the origin of all the things knows how to dissolve them. Now, this is a second question can we untie all the nuts at the same time?” he asked after a long silence. “No, Blessed Imakh. Since the nuts were attached one after the other in a certain order, we cannot untie them if we don’t follow the order in reverse,” answered the disciples.

We must free our body if we want our spirit to survive. We must know all the energetic currents that go through us, from our terrestrial origin to the cosmic ones so that harmonisation will become a conscious process and based on the knowledge. The approach of M’TAM will happen without a doubt through stages; we will start first by reconciling ourselves with our bodies, turn our bodies to our best friend. We should cultivate our sensitivity, look for the central point within us, the platform on which the Bayuali enters directly in dialogue with the Yenu. This central point will be our first philosophical stone, our first opened door on the miracle of the becoming of the existence.

This process will happen almost simultaneously with the purification of our spirit. The elimination of the tension resides in the calm of the beatitude and inner peace; the spirit will then go celebrate in the contemplation the unicity of the existence after the exploration of the multiple appearances of the original energy.

We must see our attitude or our inner position in the cleaning of our inner path as our path and our goal at the same time. Regarding the declaration of our friendship with our body, this can be described in our sitting position, silently and sometimes monotonous as first a suspension of all but the self; our presence, our attitude beyond our action or our inaction. We should discover, then, that there are many ways of not being just sitting, listening...etc. But after many exercises, we will be more sensitive to our interior and everything that will present itself to our consciousness. We can then experiment the questions of attitude.

We describe the techniques of approaching the Bayuali as the lifted curtain on our habits and our conditioning; the pilgrim of M’TAM is then the one that furnishes an effort with the goal to detect in him all the forms of conditioning, of compulsive functioning of the spirit and the body, the emotional answers, the habits, etc. and to free himself from them. This is why we say that we are, at the same time, the path, the pilgrim , and the goal of our experience.
