As intelligent as we would like to think we are, we must recognise that the most inventive brain does not cross the borders of animalistic instincts without the presence of an agent that acts as an inspiration or stimulation. In the case of humans, Gods played this role by opening their World to our attention. Everything that human beings have built that is noble was begun by first observing a perfect model of it.

Osiris, Isis and Horus (Wsr, Asta, and Heru), from now on, represent the Second Trinity composed of God the father, Goddess the mother, and God the infant. In fact, these Gods are the mediators between humans and the Great Gods that guarantee the stability of the universe. The Gods of the Second Trinity resemble humans through the fact that they have been created, but they are still Gods through the fact that they are creators.

It has been less than ten years since Naba passed on, which is too soon for anything close to an assessment of his full impact on human knowledge. It usually takes upwards of fifty years after a great thinker passes to understand his legacy. In Naba’s case, it will take longer; but already, changing the direction is clear. His work is sweeping away entire modes of thinking to be replaced by modes currently unknown by minds outside the Kemetic paradigm.

Traditional wisdom says, “It is the one who goes to sleep hungry that will be the first to be caught in the hunter’s snare”. Exposed to this Divine Model, our Ancestors were well fed and have thus long avoided the deadly trap baited with the sweet taste of corruption. Indeed with this original model, they have produced the culture that has set the bar on human civilization to which all subsequent cultures must defer. What do we stand to lose by partaking in such a meal that saw them to such greatness?

Understanding that enlightenment is the goal of a human is a very crucial component that is missing from psychology. Ignoring the spiritual reason for having the challenges that we were born with leaves people stunted and without any expectation to grow. Instead, people often become passive observers of their own destructive behaviors. This is how society produces people who commit the most unthinkable acts of violence and destruction. Instead of containing the evil through hard work and accountability, people are given an excuse to give up on the idea of changing. That excuse is the idea that a person is abnormal, which comes in the form of a label.

Fasting is a symbol of worship and is a spiritual practice that requires discipline and dedication of an initiate. Our Ancestors have fasted for Wsr during these times mentioned above for thousands of years. Although the practice of fasting may have various purposes today in the modern world, our Ancestors preserved the knowledge of the original times to observe this spiritual obligation as well as the resolute reasons. Let us continue our story. In part one of this series, we learned the horrors of this catastrophe in Meritah’s Great Lakes region, also known as the interlacustrine region, from 1994 until present (2015). We now know that this catastrophe cannot be summarized simply as an ethnic conflict between African tribes as we tend to hear. As shown in part two of this series, Hutu and Tutsi, which continue to be the target of blame for the conflict, carried different meanings prior to European invasion.

Aishat is one Goddess still revered all over the world and is known by many names such as Isis, Auset, Aicha, Mary, Mariama, etc. Although her name and some of her characteristics have been either mistranslated by archaeologists or corrupted by political agendas, the original concepts of motherhood, childbirth, healing, magic and love are represented by Aishat, humanity’s first Mother.

This event was a small, but important example of the strategies the parents in the Earth Center community are using in parenting. The goal is to return our children to the traditions of our Ancestors. It is difficult given the fact that the people of our society, including our own family members, are intentionally or unintentionally introducing values and behaviors that conflict with what we are teaching our children. This will present yet another problem for them to solve.

Parents must question the idea of “blindly trusting [the care of] your child to a collection of untested strangers and hoping for the best” as Gatto (who was one of those strangers for over 30 years) states. The public school system can do nothing to instill your Ancestral values into your children. Though that may clearly be the parent’s job, are most doing so?

For this installment of the postpartum series I have focused on presenting information about caring for a newborn baby, and specifically I have singled out some of the things I observed that a person from the West may never encounter and the modern medical system can’t seem to explain. Using my unique experience, I will discuss the Kemetic tradition of naming, the umbilical cord stump, healing baths, medicinal incisions, and the talisman jewelry adorned on children.

The human being is in fact just one expression of Earth. M’TAM teaches us that everything on Earth is merely an expression of the planet itself. Earth expresses and it receives expressions from other celestial bodies. The Bayuali is the channel of energy that Earth is emitting. And the Yennu is the channel of energy that Earth is receiving. What the planet receives dictates how the planet responds, with the goal of this communication being harmony and survival.
