On The Ancestral Path: What Are We Becoming?
THIS WORLD WILL ALWAYS continue to go on… despite all of our frustrations, fears, depressions and hopelessness. Regardless of how lonely, destitute, desperate or confused we may be, this world will go on. It does not matter if one is suicidal or psychotic, with thoughts of killing himself while taking the lives of anybody else that happens to be sharing the same space at the same time, this world will continue to go on.
On The Ancestral Path: Uniting Africa
The proposed African Union is a concept that can be very misleading because there is no clear understanding behind the intention or the goal of such an undertaking. What would achieving a united Africa really mean for those living there and those of us in the Diaspora? Would it mean that Africa would control all of its natural resources and funnel the monies made from them back into its own communities? Would it mean that Africa would produce its own form of currency? Would it mean that all foreign interest would be regulated and monitored by one governing body that would ensure there will be no more civil wars based on these interests? Hypothetically? Maybe? It’s difficult to say for sure.
On the Ancestral Path - Initiatic Misconceptions
Letting go of the paradigm that was instilled in us since our birth is not an easy thing to do. All of the perceptions, ideals, values, beliefs, notions and ideologies that have made their bed within our conscience make it difficult to accept any “new” realities that may expose us as misguided, mis-educated and ignorant individuals. Being conditioned from birth to adopt the history and values of other cultures without first embracing our own has and will continue to lead us further away from the true essence of our spiritual nature.

An individual born and raised within this modern society will find that the Kemetic paradigm is far more difficult to grasp than one can imagine. It has become so foreign to us that we sometimes don’t see the purpose behind the value it carries in relation to the values we have been conditioned to hold as true.

As human beings, we are on a continuous quest to find an understanding of who we are in relation to the world we can see. This keeps us in a very weak position because the world we can observe, in and of it self, reflects who we are as humans. Let’s give some serious thought to that. The question then becomes how can we become more than who we are if our only point of reference is what we can see? This is the dilemma we all face and it manifests itself in the different behaviors we exhibit. We have proven to be a confused civilization without the necessary direction or guidance that will birth the quality we are looking for in ourselves or others.
On the Ancestral Path…Ignoring the Obvious
Why is the obvious so hard for us to see? Simple: the lenses through which we are looking at the world are dirty and need to be cleansed. The images we see are distorted, including the ones we see in the mirror. It then becomes challenging to judge the distance from or to an object(ive). It becomes a challenge to see in darkness. We may sometimes even see things that are not really there. The effort we put forth to see puts a strain on our eyes, so we close them in order to feel some relief.
